TS Galaxy FC's attacking struggles continued as they fell to a 1-0 home defeat against Chippa United in the Premier Soccer League on Saturday. A 62nd-minute strike from K. Majadibodu, assisted by Abbubaker Mobara, was enough to settle the contest and extend Galaxy's winless run to two matches.

The result leaves Bernard Parker's side 10th in the league standings with six points from their opening six fixtures. They have now lost their last two outings, having also been beaten by Kruger United the previous week. The team has accumulated six points from a possible eighteen, a tally that reflects their inconsistent start to the campaign.

Team Setup and Key Moments

Parker set his team up in a 3-4-1-2 formation, but they struggled to convert their 57 percent possession into clear chances. The visitors, organised in a 4-3-3 by coach B. Truter, were more clinical, testing goalkeeper I. Tapé four times. Tapé made three saves, but was beaten just after the hour mark when Mobara found Majadibodu for the game's only goal.

Galaxy made four substitutions in search of an equaliser, introducing Camagu Mdevulana, Siphesihle Tati, Junior Zindoga and Mlungisi Mbunjana. The changes failed to spark a revival, with the team managing just one shot on target all afternoon. Chippa United, who made five changes of their own, saw out the game to secure the points.

Discipline and Statistics

Chippa United collected three yellow cards, with Goodman Mosele, Azola Tshobeni and substitute Ibrahim Bance all cautioned. Galaxy's sole booking went to Siphesihle Tati in the 74th minute for a foul. The match statistics highlighted Galaxy's lack of cutting edge, as they were outshot 14 to 5 and created fewer corners.

Top scorer V. Letsoalo, who has four goals this season, was kept quiet by the Chippa defence. The team's recent form shows one win, two draws and two losses from their last five league games. You can review the full sequence of results on our fixtures page.

With the international break now underway, TS Galaxy have time to regroup before a tough away trip to face second-placed Orlando Pirates on 18 October. The squad list for that encounter is available on our squad page. The upcoming match against Orlando Pirates represents a significant challenge as Galaxy look to improve on their current points total of six.
